Moroccan dress is a language of details. At FENNA we honour it through the techniques that give a caftan its soul, carried out by skilled hands in Morocco.
Sfifa and aakad
The fine braided trim known as sfifa and the small knotted aakad buttons are shaped and applied by hand. They frame necklines and cuffs with a precision no machine can imitate.
Embroidery
From tone-on-tone motifs to gold thread, our embroidery is designed to catch the light softly rather than overwhelm the silhouette.
Considered fabrics
We choose fabrics for how they fall and how they feel: fluid crêpes, soft velvets and breathable linen blends suited to the Moroccan climate and to a life in motion.
